okay so i am no mechanic but i had to replace the headlight switch for the 95 mustang gt, well seemed straight forward according to the book, so figure i could do it, got it out okay, then found the the wiring hraness for was fried, one burnt wire, so drove into ford dealer was able to have one today so i started cutting and splising wires together, go it all back in and every works, no fires or anything, amazing what a little self confidence can do for a person, (thanks to my father in law and every one on this site). To tell you how big this is to me, this is the first automative project that i found the problem, dianogis what needed to be done, odered parts, removed and install and everything in between on my own. man did that feel good. thanks for letting me share.

Hey Larry--congrats on this repair. It is a good feeling when you actually complete something like this--and you deserve to feel good about accomplishing it yourself!
Now just think of what fun is waiting for you working on all SORTS of stuff on that pretty LT1!

Good job Larry
Not much of a mechanic here either so I can relate to how good it feels to fix a problem yourself

I was thinking problems on a car, but now that you mention it, those double E's can be a PITA too.

None on this site of course.
