They say the population of Speedway, IN grows 300,000 on Race Day Thumbs%20Up  And believe me they were all there LOL  And then some.   I never thought of making a poster of the Pace car, that would be cool.

Thanks again for the earplugs Aaron, but when your sitting as close as we were to the track they really don't do a lot to block the roar of the car as they go wizzing by.  I'm sure they actually did help cause I'm not asking everyone to repeat themselves LOL

So, what do ya think Mark? Is it worth going to see in person ? I mean, from the couch you get so many different camera angles and so forth, and at the track it might be difficult to see the actual competition as it happens. Lord knows, the kinda coin it would take to attend could buy a lotta beer and vette parts. Big%20smile (honestly, I'm so envious) Thumbs%20Up Too cool Mark, and thanks for the pics.

Well Jimmie, I had always said that I'd never go to a sporting event because it was so much more comfortable to watch it from the comfort of your own home.  The close ups, replays, different camera angles, and everything else, well my answer to your question is HELL YES Thumbs%20Up  If your into Indy Car racing, or NASCAR (Daytona 500) you have to go see it in person atleast once.  Mike (mkapp7879) and Debbie saved me a lot of $$ by inviting me to stay with them but I still spent quite a bit and it was worth every penny.  It's really hard to explain the rush you get ever 30 seconds when those cars would come back around the 2.5 mile track.  And, you've gotta experience the crowd of 300,000 people all at the same event.  Believe it or not, it was not a problem driving to, getting into, and getting home from the track.  This is one experience I'll prolly never forget.
