Got my tickets yesterday for the May 27,Indy 500. This is my first 500 and I could use some help from those who have been or those that live close.Mainly, what time do I need to be near track to find a parking spot for the rental car and just to be there in plenty of time. We are staying in Carmel,In. Thanks Mikeee

I've been to the race a number of times, but this year, for the first time, I actually bought my tickets instead of waiting to get them for free!! I too got mine just a few days ago.

Where to park depends on where your seats are. I've used the same general parking area for years, and last year, my seats were in a different spot, and it made the usual parking spot a very bad choice.
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
