Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed
Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.
2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
Well, I have figured for almost a year that the Corvette would not make it a record six years in a row as the Indy 500 Pace Car (although five is a record - I'm not sure any other car has ever done it even two consecutive years!). With the new Camaro coming out, I figured for sure that it would pace the race. I was right.
The car looks ok, but I think another Vette would have looked even better!!
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

After seeing it pace the Daytona 500 I figured it would also lead the pack at a bunch of other tracks this year.
