I used them once a long time ago and never went back. I know person who had his oil changed and they left the drain plug loose, by the time he realized it that damage was done. He's seen a lawyer and they're waiting to get a response from Jiffy Lube.

Those places should be called Jippy Rube. I went to one just once for an early bird $19.99 oil change. Cost me $50.00 and I never got a straight answer as to why!!!!

Those places make their money off of bad filters and bad oil. And then they have us brain washed into thinking that a oil change must be ever 3K miles. Read your owners manual for the oil change interval.

I have had the wife's van oil changed twice by one of the lube shops and both times they over filled the engine oil. Once it was 1 qt over and the second time it was 2 qts over. It blew oil back into the air filter. When I asked why they over filled it, he said the computer said 7 qts. I don't know about any one else but I have never seen a 4 liter take more than 5. So I now do all my own service work except for the auto trans. I take it to the dealer who I know chargers more but at least I stand a chance at having it down right. There is a trans shop here in town that I am going to try next time. I have a friend that has recommended them.

Never been to them and never will.   Don't believe very many people use them, because if they are slow on business here in Wichita, they have their "mechanics" stand out by the street with signs trying to get you to come in for service.

I do all my own oil changes.  Don't have to worry, at least until I get a little older and develop alzheimers.
