A little later Ford bought out an electric car company in Norway. They scarfed up the technology and then shutdown the company. Walked past the old plant the last time I was in Trondheim.

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Yes those wheels are nice. Back to the car it about the size of a small golf cart or some of the cars I see in Japan. That is kind of interesting Ford history. Did they actually ever make any as a Ford plant?

The video says they made 2...at least at that time, they had two of them. It really IS just basically a golf cart with an enclosed body. It's just neat that the 'lectric car thing has been around way longer than most people think. Of course, technology has progressed far beyond what was available back in '67...now the hybrid/'lectrics are full scale autos, with all of the conveniences we expect these days.

If memory serves electric cars have been around for about 100 years. Saw a couple at the museum in Reno and also a couple in a museum in Maine.
