you might notice the flexing when you lift up to work on. my scissor
jack basically lifts car the same way and when it's up and i open door
can't shut it tight until i lower it. i never leave the car raised.
when i am done working on it for the day i always lower it.

Let me ask you guy this. to lift the car, I plan on using the same lift points that the GM manual suggests, on the frame , behind the front wheels, and in front of the rear wheels. Thats not going to change is it?

that's where i set my lift pads to and have not had any problems. i
might be overly cautious but it's me under the car so whenever i raise
the car i lift it a couple feet off the ground and test for stability
and then when it's all the way up i test again. even though i have had
the lift for awhile now and i do trust it's lifting i'd rather be safe
than sorry.
i am sure you will love the freedom your lift will give you to work comfortably

[/QUOTE]Nope. That's the best you can do Daniel, for placement.
