Well it is apperant i won't be able to attend the gathering this year so i will get on with another project. i have a 1982 s-10 long wheel base that has been holding the earth down for some time . the wiring is k-put. anyway i came across a fellow who was about to throw away a 327 from his 67 Camaro (duh) i just couldn't let the engine be scraped, so i adopted it to give it a new home in my 82 S-10. MY question is does anyone have knowledge of serpentine belt systems? have looked at the Summit system, the Billet speciality system, the Vintage air system, the March performance system, the B&B streetrod system and several others (i most definatly dony want the oem set-up ( i know the heads i am using will not have the correct mounting holes). is there a big difference ? i prefer not to have chrome or the oem black system some were brushed metal. Oh! i probably will have to use a remote power steering resavoir and i want the air condition to work. i am starting on the wiring monday it all comes out encluding the fuse panel (which is where the wiring problem is) and purdy up the engine compartment before i finish the engine and put in a new wiring harness. after readjng all this remember my question is about serpentine belt systems.

Hi,If the 327 is goin in your s-10 pickup go to s10v8.com for ur serpentene setup questions. Excellent website,if theres a answer to a v8 swap into a s10 theyll have it. I put a 350tpi into my 87 s10 4x4, runs like a scallded dog. Frank
