I've just noticed this a few days ago. Right around the croner from me is a 56 Chevy Station wagon. It is a two door wagon and it is NOT a Nomad. It looks to be all orginal in what looks like faded black factory paint. No rust that I can see. The front bumper is totally shot but thats the worst part of the car. I see no dents, missing trim what little trim it has is just a simple spear with a little up piece. It's a very nice car and will make a real nice resto. Does anybody know what type of body style it might be? Bel-air- 210? I don't know how they did the wagons except the Nomad.

Several new body types were created to fill out the 1956 line. Bel Air Sport Sedan 4 Door Hard Top, Two-Ten Sport Sedan 4 Door Hard Top, Bel Air Beauville 9 passenger 4 Door Station Wagon and a Two-Ten Beauville 9-passenger 4 Door Station Wagon were new in 1956. Back was the 1956 Chevrolet Nomad.
... No rust that I can see.
How hard did ya look?
Fenders are notorious for rust, front and rear.
Sure they did wagons, as Larry stated. The Nomad was just the upscale wagon...before they found woodgrain decals!!
