Vette(s): 1972 conv., sunfire yellow, blk interior, blk vinyl and convertible top. Off frame restoration with American Speed 383 stroker engine producing 500hp plus a 200hp NOS system. MSD ignition. Hooker super competition headers with chambered exhaust.
I loved that overhead cam six cylinder. I ordered a 66 Tempest convertible with the sprint package which included that engine with a 4 barrel carb. Don't remember the exact HP but know it was over 200. I do remember well that it would kill the 289 Mustangs on the drag strip.

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Let us not forget what Delorean did for the muscle cars GTO, Firebird, GrandPrix. Then there are the Vega and DMC-12. With the DMC-12 and ego doing him in. But without the ego he would not have achieved what he did.
It does look like the shark is a copy of his product! Could it be he is the real father of the basic design?
