Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.
2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
I struggled with what forum category to put this in. Hope this one works.
The Coupe prototype of the Pontiac Banshee is up for sale on e-bay. GM had ordered this car destroyed, but an employee convinced them to sell it to him. Lucky guy!
I don't know though. For $3/4M, I think I'd want at least an FM radio!
A cool looking car. I can see why GM didn't want it released in fear of it hurting Vette sales
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

I thought this car looked familiar - it's made the rounds.

And the Mako Shark II didn't come out until '65 if I recall. The Banshee is listed as a '64

That sure does bear a striking resemblence to our C3s! Now you know they never throw away good designs!

A head of it's time. I don't care for the wheel openings and the greiil/bumper. Chevy stole the design basics, but improved on it.

SOMEbody been smokin th'whacky terbacky!(or, considering DeLorean was involved, maybe doin some snow ski-in!)

Ain't got nuttin to do with Corvette, other than being a GM project...and it DOES look more like an Opel GT to me too.
It's a neat bit of Pontiac/GM history, but....$750 thou? Really?
I guess ya have to be a Poncho fan to like it that much.
