So, I did not get a chance to attempt to adjust it correctly before using it yesterday. It was mostly fine, but the longer I used it, and the more clogged up the auger and chute got, the worse it behaved. It would sputter and "backfire" and get near stalling. I watched the video you posted, and plan to watch it again and use it as my guide, perhaps this Saturday, to try and get it to run right.
Thanks!

What's this "snow" stuff you speak of...

I got to adjusting it this weekend. I couldn't seem to get it adjusted quite right. A guy who I know from Cub Scouts happen to be driving by my house when I was working on it, and he stopped to say hi. He has experience with these engines and carbs, so he offered to help. He got it running pretty good for me. I was able to use it for a snowfall we had Saturday. It was a light snowfall, though. I'll be interested to see how it performs for a heavy snowfall.
Thanks for the help guys!

Not when I have herniated discs and am not supposed to shovel. So,

Cool!!!

My 13hp Ariens has been getting a lot of use this season. Since my back is shot, I only shovel the light fluffy stuff and the front porch.

Adam that is just mean spirited. I do agree and almost fell out
of my chair laughing.
