Sorry to hear about your misfortune.
I hope the person is caught, prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and publically humiliated.
Put a notice in the parking lot with a reward for anyone that saw anything.
Write a letter to the editor asking anyone who saw it to report it to the police.
DO NOT take the law into your own hands.
That will just get you in trouble and you will be more pissed off.

GOD..................that is totally sick...............how can someone do that??? I only hope it happens to them someday..........then they will know how horrible it feels. I hope you have good comprehensive insurance. Best of luck to you with a new paint job. Sorry to read about your wife's car. I kind of look at it like some people love cars and some people love to hate. Hopefully Karma catches up. The mentality of these people can only lead to negative things happening in their life, at least I hope so. I can see it in people's eyes and what they say. Jealousy turned to crime. There is no cure, parents teach this to their kids.

adjuster came out today...
insurance appraisal was about 1100 damage.....

that is why i wont paint my Yellow Vette. Its a 10 footer, when someone comes up close to it, they realize its not that great a paint job and leave it alone. I wont put my red Vette anywhere i (or my rottie) is not with it.

my brother in law and I rigged up a paint booth im my shop and repainted the top, rear q panels, and trunk.
it actually looks better than it did before...
it has motivated me to setup a permanent paint booth.
