Vette(s): 1978 Silver Anniversary model. Original L82 engine, 700r4 trans, edelbrock intake, thorly headers, rack&pinion steering, mono rear and front spring, MSD 6A box
The car I wish I still had is my first car it was a 1954 Merc Sun Valley model with the glass roof. They only made 900 of them. I paid $35.00 for it mowing grass. Man what a car.
I think most of you have been driving cars longer than I've been alive
But anyway... I've had:

1978 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme
1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme
1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme
1994 Pontiac Grand Am
2000 Chevrolet Camaro
And own:
1982 Corvette
2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28
2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport
My first car was a 62 Ford Fairlane, 4-door, 6 cylinder, 3 on the tree. That was in 1975.
2nd was a 66 Galaxie 500 convertible, 390. Great driving around in the Mi winters with the top down.
3rd was a 73 Montego, notice a trend here?
Then it was a 78 LTDII, first new car I bought.
Opps, I got married and that was it for new cars for a looong time.
Next thing I new I was a Chevy guy. I bought an 85 Truck and then a 88 Suburban (I still have this one).
Now I have a 99 Silverado and the Vette.

High school, a 57 Chev pickup 6cyl 3 on the column which I broke off shifting too hard so off to the hardware store to make a column mounted "T" shifter out of plumbers black pipe. So darn heavy in 2 nd you just push in the clutch and it would drop down to third all by it self.
71 International 1/2 ton. I think these trucks came pre rusted from the factorary.
73 AMC Hornet, (now that's a keeper)
74 chev pickup
78 Olds Cutlass curiser
83 Buick something
79 chev pickup
86 Ford F250
a bunch of Mercs
98 Chev 3500
Presently-
02 GMC xcab 2500HD
03 Chev crewcab dually, sitting under a Lance camper
another Merc
41 Plymouth pickup which I've had over 35 years and it still ain't done.
And of course- the

nothing to really write home about with me.
my first car was a 1980 formula firebird (looked cool but was basically junk).
1984 monte SS.
1987 monte SS (still kicking myself for giving that up). the sad part is i gave it up for a psycho girlfriend who said, "we need money to save for a house"... man, i was stupid.
1980 monte carlo with air shocks and giant back tires.
then jumped ship and got a '94 ford ranger
then a '99 F150.
presently: '04 ford ranger and a red '74 chevy
