Topic: Trying To Sell a C-2 Corvette on eBay

Jim:
As with anything we sell it's worth what the highest bidder is willing to pay for it. I am assuming you are looking for us to tell you what reserve you should put on it, but only you would know that, since you know the costs that went into creating it.
It's a beautiful replica! You did a great job on it. Is it big enough for an adult to sit in it, or just a child? You may want to mention that when you go to list it.
Nice job!
Mark, You're right, I know what my reserve would have to be. I would just like to see how close you guys could come to guessing the actual cost of building the car.
Unfortunately, It's only big enough for a child. The only way an adult could drive it is to take the body off the frame. Thanks for the compliment but I can't take credit for anything on the car other than the idea to use the glovebox emblems on the front and rear and the vinyl trim.
1 cylinder ? doos this means its scale 1:8 ?
No, serieusly , very nice model Jim . I like toys and was even thinking of building one myself for my ( first) grandchild but have still some time ... she's only 10 months old.
have seen on the expo a also very nice replica "toy" of the Bugatti racer , made in aluminium with a electric engine : price was 5.000 euro = 6.000 $. More to show in a hall or shop than for playing ....!
succes with bidding !
Norbert, Let me figure this. The car is actually 6 1/2 ft long. At 1/8 scale, that would make a regular vette 51 feet long.
If you were referring to cylinders, it's 1/8 of 8 which equals 1.
Would LOVE to have something like that for my Granddaughter...
Awesome job..very nice..
