Well I had a little while before work today so I had a great idea of what to do with an old emblem gather dust around the house. Made out of stuff I just had sitting around. Theres probably a hundred ways to do it different but this was the first thought that came to my mind.

I think I will mask off the emblem and paint the hitch black so it won't show as much
Just thought I'd share this with everyone

Oh ya, don't attempt this on a Ford or Dodge pick-up or the emblem will just jump off the truck

That looks very cool. You may have to much time on your hands.
This idea leaves it wide open for all kinds of emblems of your choice. Junk yards could be a great place to look for them.Aaron1976 2008-06-25 00:16:32

I once bought an emblem off a 57 T-bird and stuck it on my wall with other antiques. I made My wife promise that someday she would buy me a Bird to attach it to.

Something I have thought of doing but never have is taking old emblems and mounting them on a wood plaque. This would then be something nice to put up in a den, spare room, or the garage wall. I am talking some nice wood stained to your taste and decor so the ladies like it. So many emblems and even engine size ones are out there to pick from. This is something that would also sell well at car shows.
