I need some help identifying the wheel pictured below (click on any of them for a bigger version). It was in the trunk of "BIGBRRD" (our '78 Trans Am) as the spare. The tire was shot so I found a space saver donut on eBay to replace it with.
It is a steel wheel with what appears to be a hard plastic insert to give it the appearance of a slotted wheel. Don't have the center cap. The readable stampings on the inside are "15x7" and "JJ". You can't see it in the photo but "Made in USA" is also stamped there. There are some other random letters, numbers and symbols but they are scattered about, not really grouped together.
I didn't see anything stamped on the back of the wheel, but it is rather crusty back there. I suppose if I spent a little quality time with a wire wheel I might uncover something.
I looked through the Firebird stuff I have and didn't see a picture of it. The fellow who removed the tire for me thought it might be a Monte Carlo wheel. If I can't identify it I'll recycle it rather than try to sell it. Any ideas?

Thanks Gentlemen (you too Joel!
).

A lot of the MCs that I found pictures of on the web either had rallys or custom wheels on them. Didn't see any with this wheel on it.
Next question - does it have any value? Is it worth the hassle of trying to sell in when the cost to ship it may be more than what I can expect to get for it? It may not even be worth the cost of gas to take it to a junk or scrap yard.

My best friend all thru high school(yes..I did go to high skool) had a '76 Monte..it had those same exact rims on it.
Value? Realistically, prolly no more than $10-$15, unless there happens to be an NMCRS(Nat'l Monte Carlo Restoration Society) I don't know about!
