Dam that Dewy Decimal feller...
Actually, a few months ago, when fuel prices were way up there, there was a station down the road from the shop that had premium gas for $42.59...yup, that's what the sign said! It was like that for about three weeks, too! I guess I musta been the only one that noticed...

I filled up my DD yesterday in Gastonia for 1.98 per gallon. Considering North Carolina's rediculous gas tax, that was great !! BUT IT WON'T STAY THAT WAY !!

Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

I filled up tonight for $1.75 for regular unleaded. No coupons, no gimmicks. I could have used a $.10 savings and got it for $1.65, but I only needed a half tank, so I'm waiting for that.
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
Wow! Lots of you folks are getting it cheap!
I put the cheap stuff in my Honda Civic commuter. Lowest I've seen it is $2.55. I'm hoping it continues to drop. We'll see.
