I know volvo are some of the safest cars out there, at least thats what the experts say. My Grandma drives a volvo and she likes it alot. no serious problems with it, its a 1997.

Adam, it's a good choice.  Volvo is a very good car.  They handle better than in the past.

The problem is parts availabilty and cost.  It's harder to get them worked on by someone compentent.  Bottom line, service is more expensive.  Flip side, they don't break a lot.
