Did I open a can of worms . Terry ours is the 27th. Maybe we can find something in route to do. I'm sure after an 800 mile run we will still have plenty of energy to find something to do.

Terry, see this thread saved your life. Just think what would have happened if you forgot. The wife would have grabbed your keys one night and drove the vette back to Alaska leaving you stranded in Nebraska.

Sorry Joel, I went through this thread fast and it was Glen, but he is right, saved me from the mess of,  "I'm sorry dear I forgot again, I'll make it up to you"..I USED THAT LAST YEAR.. Well Glen, all I can think of is drive fast get to Utah ASAP, look for a dance hall try to keep in step, wine and dine her to make her happy, sleep for an hour or two and hit the road for 810 more miles while the wife sleeps in the car and me driving by myself.. I'll be talking on the CB alot..I'll need Pigeon Forge to rest..

My wife and I have stayed in this area before and I can tell you without any doubt there is a jewelry store not to far from where we are going to be. I have no doubts my wife would be more than happy to escort yours there during one of the guy' "shop talks".

Mine is June 14.  It will be 31 years, and thankfully she is still around to enjoy it.  Didn't know if she was going to live on our 30th.

But I have a time gap between the 14th and PF.  Still don't know if I'll make it to PF,  but at least I won't be in trouble for that one.
