Vette(s): SOLD - "The Toy" - '70 Convertible
SOLD - "The Beast" - '90 ZR-1 (#682)
SOLD - "Betty" - '28 Ford Model A Tudor
SOLD - "BLKBRRD" - '78 Pontiac Trans Am
"BLUBYU" - '04 Coupe

My brother-in-law (who has a '69 AMX) has put his name on the list to get one of these: Ford Mustang Shelby GT500

I guess there are some write-ups out on it, but I haven't seen them yet.  I did see a write-up on the new convertible and it had a follow-up on the new Saleen coupe version.

The new 'Pony sure is more of a retro styling exercise than the C6, but neither of them will EVER beat the looks of a C3...!!!

Anyone who says the horsepower wars died in the 60's and early 70's....aint seen nothing yet! Now It is required that I build my vette with 500 rwhp to stay on top of cars from the factory! These are good times to be a gear head!

Vette(s): 1969 Daytona Yellow Coupe - ZZ4/4 speed, Hurst shifter, Griffin aluminum radiator w/ Dual Spals, March Serpentine Pulley kit, Hookers with STS Racing Baffles, VB&P Suspension bits, 17" AR Hopsters, L-88 Hood
That car is going to rock. I would absolutely park one of those in the garage next to the '69. Ford hit the mark with the styling and now with 450+ hp on tap that is going to be one monster ride Daytona6938442.6442592593

Awesome retro. However ,if i was going to spend my money on a stang  I `d buy the original `68 sitting next to it.Some thing about mechanical horsepower vs. electronic.Guess i`m an old dinosaur.

Not much of a ford fan, but ive always loved the classic
mustangs. none is better than the car made famous in gone in
60 seconds known as eleanor. but this one is a beauty. I think
that ford is going to sell alot of these cars. the base model and
gt's have already been hitting the streets, and they do have real
world head turning looks. i think that detroit is finally realizing
that muscle cars were king! i mean if youre gonna drive
something that gets less than 15 mpg highway, at least do it
going REAL FAST! I mean who really takes that monster SUV
on a dirt road, much less a trail? i didnt think so.

just my 2¢

Vette(s): 1972 coupe/350 cid/mild cam/4 spd/20 ft. paint (looks perfect from 20 ft.), but it sure runs nice.

Not a Ford fan...never have, never will, although there have been all sorts of Falcons, Fairlanes and Torinos in the family. Gotta say this does look like a pretty stout ride. Why has the "General" fallen so far behind in this "throwback" game? Slap Yenko's name on something, and not some front-wheel drive family car dressed up in hi-perf. clothing. Don't get me started.......

P.S. Forgot the GTO, my bad....let's get the war going.

I'm not a real Ford fan either, but I have to say the new Mustangs are a great value for the money. My wife needed a new car, wound up getting her a Mustang with the V-6. I have to sya the car performs quite well with that small motor, the GT's must be missles. GM has certainly slipped a few gear teeth, they really have nothing that even comes close. The Corvette is their only rear wheel drive car, or that Caddy STS? that's really Corvette underneath.

The GTo or the SSR truck thing are good performers too
they do need to bring back the camaro or firebird though, there has been talk of chevy coming out with a chevelle that is a GTO underneath.
