>>>I have never had the opportunity to see the original wall.Although I spent alot of time on the East coast,it was before the Wall was erected.I have seen the Traveling Wall,and for years now I have been trying to correct the travesty they have done by misspelling my fathers first name,on ALL the Walls.The 1st correction is on the Virtual Wall I started this post with,by emailing about 3 government agencies until the Dept.of Defense records were finally changed to reflect the correction.Then the Virtual Wall people finally changed it.Now its on to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF)people who actually run the Wall, with the DC Park Service,to force them to correct my fathers name that is etched in granite...wish me luck. You would think that after 30 years serving our country,they could get his name right!

Out of curiosity, how did they misspell your dad's name?
Again, best of luck getting it changed, I know they have made corrections to the wall before so it's not impossible.
