My youngest son; Sgt Tyler Grant with the Arkansas Army National Guard left today for Kuwait. His final destination is Camp Slayer, Iraq at the Baghdad Airport for an expected 10 month deployment.
Being in the Infantry and serving as a Qualified & Designated Sniper, while in Iraq he will perform Security operations such as Sniper Missions, combat operations, street patrols and man check points, etc.
Naturaly Donna and I are very concerned and worried for his safety, but we believe that God will honor our prayers and the prayers of many for his safety and protection! That is why I am asking for your help!
I am requesting that you all pray for his safety and flight. Please place him on your Church's prayer list!
We are quite proud of him and of his service, but worry endlessly.
Thank you all in advance for your prayers and support,
John

Tyler, and all of his brothers/sisters in arms will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.
Please extend to him my most sincere gratitude and thanks for his unselfish service to my country.

Both Pam and I being Military (me retired) will both say a prayer for your son's safe return from Iraq, as well as all his comrades. You should (as we all should) be proud of the job he is doing to protect the Iraqi people from the evils that maybe overthere.

Consider it done. My best friend, a longtime pilot buddy, just left for his final two months in Afganistan. He was recently home for 2 weeks R&R. I pray for all of our brave soldiers, airmen, and sailors. I will definintely keep your son in my thoughts.
