A young man of 23 from our church did a year in Iraq. Every time I saw his wife with their 1 year old son I would think about what he willingly gave up to help rid this world of an evil force.
John, Families like yours bring honor to our great country. God bless you. Tyler is in our prayers.

Done! Our troops are doing amazing things in Iraq and Afghanistan. Your boy's smarter, better equiped, better trained and all around 120% better than the best of what of they have to offer. I'm proud of what he's doing and what everyone else is doing there!

Thank you to all of you that replied and are praying for my son!
We received a call from Tyler Saturday afternoon, he had arrived in Kuwait a fews hours before he called. Except for being tired from the flight he seemed to be in good spirits.
It is the prayers of many people such as all of you and your Churchs that I believe will protect Tyler and get him home safely!
Please continue to remember Tyler all of all of our troops serving in harms way!
I will do my best to post periodic updates of his status.
Thank you all again,
John

Our youngest, a Marine LCpl, returned in December from his 3rd tour in Iraq (along the Syrian border - mostly around Husaybah) so you know we will be praying for him and you. We will add him to our prayer list at our congregation and on a few congregation's "military prayer boards" where we have friends where they pray for our military at every service and individuals make it part of their daily prayers to offer a Marine or Soldiers name up to God.
God bless him and keep him mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually safe until he comes home!
