Mama & I celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary today!
She got me a couple of cool die-casts.
I got the 1/12th scale C6(Hot Wheels), red w/tan interior, and , man, this thing is really nice for a Hot Wheels! Very detailed, with actual control arm movement, rotors that turn inside the calipers, full carpeting, decals, and the center console opens up.
Then, she brings out the big gun! Danbury Mint, '55, special edition(1/24 scale). Super nice, extremely detailed. Even has a real steering gearbox, not just a piece of plastic lever, as most are. Canvas top, full upholstery, spare tire w/jack, full, correct suspension, with the stencil on the driveshaft! Even has metal shift linkages on the tranny. Very, very nice !
Then we spent the day runnin around in one of the area "super-malls". Of course, a visit to Zales , and a nice dinner at one of our favorite Italian places(Carrabbas), and back home to relax.
Gotta tell ya, it don't get much better than this! Mama has been the driving force behind me every since I met her, and I wouldn't trade her fer NUTHIN" !

I believe that is also CORRECT for me too.   I would even quit my job for mine.  She knows that I would..  She told me.

Our 30th came and went with my wife in the hospital.  When she get home man are we going to celebrate.

Congratulations on your 11th anniversary.  It is truly wonderful to have the right woman as your life's companion.  My wife is also my best friend and has been for over 41 years. 

Thanx for all the kind words! I only hope we can last as long as some of you Old Farts!! (but, then again, we didn't get married until I was 35!)
