Vette(s): 1969 Daytona Yellow Coupe - ZZ4/4 speed, Hurst shifter, Griffin aluminum radiator w/ Dual Spals, March Serpentine Pulley kit, Hookers with STS Racing Baffles, VB&P Suspension bits, 17" AR Hopsters, L-88 Hood
Some awesome cars have passed through so far this year. Saw a perfect '68 L89 Coupe roll for $85,000 and Merlin go for $68,000 (twin supercharged '74 vert making a claimed 1200 HP http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/720214/2). A couple of big dollar cars went as well...Hemi Cuda for $250,000, '69 COPO 427 Camaro for $120,000. Crazy numbers again this year and the auction isn't even half over.

I've watched quite a bit and I agree, the numbers seem high, but the cars are beautiful. Just goes to show what happens when a couple people start a bid war. They've mentioned a few times that some cars/models have sold so far for world record highs. I'm grabbing it all to the pvr as 25 hours of coverage is a looong time.

Actually merlin for $68,000 doesn't sound like a bad deal. I'd rather have merlin than say a porsche 911. Thats about the same money .

I totally agree...Merlin at $68K was a steal considering there is $250,000 in the car.
