Wed nite/Thu morn we got 150+ mm from 3am to about 8am. I think that computes to about 6" Right now we are having another major thunder storm. We are in a sandy part of town & got off lucky, only a trickle thru the basement, but many got completly flooded out of their basements. I'm talkin' water floor to ceiling! Some streets washed out, cars left flooded, etc.City declared state of emergency.
Luckly "Baby" was high & dry in the garage.

Thanks for asking but it really isn't necessary and you can keep all the rain for now.

Unfortunately, I think all the folks to the west of us have had enough and are forwarding the rain our way whether we like it or not.

Rain ? Yeah, big time. I am in south FL a little above Jupiter, and south of Jensen Beach, Stuart area. Has not rained for weeks, but did a couple of days ago. Water table is down 24 feet. I just had my well for sprinkler zones re-cased, put on a dual stage Sta-Rite pump with bladder tank, and now if this one goes dry, the whole state of FL is in trouble. Another big problem is the county has several wells drilled around us, and they use mega water to water the golf courses here. A person could fit down in their wells. I have a lot of salt water a couple blocks down the street, but that is only good to fish, boat and swim. If you do not water down here, it will burn up, and it has not been like this in a long time. One of the old timer's told me yesterday, that when it is very dry like this, that it precedes hurricane season. Went thru 6 hurricanes in 5 years up in NC, and they ain't fun. So much for weather.
I found NOS round 6" speakers, 8 ohm for back of Vette, Kyster told me that original speakers for the GM Delco AMFM stereo radio's were 8 ohm. I found them at a very good price. Anyone need any, I will send you the person's address. My e-mail: vinterrv@aol.com

I was all settled in at the picnic table putting seat covers on, cooler full of cold ones. Next thing you know............. kaboom! I had to move everything in the shop and start over, even moved the cooler first!
We got a couple of inches in about an hour!
Guess I'll finish the seats today!

I haven't had much here the last few weeks. Today my Celebrity quit. I suspect the fuel pump. Of course when I started to check it out, the rain came. LOTS of rain. The weather report says it will do this all week. I may tow the Celebrity to the school and do it there. I like to swim but this is just crazy.
