Davii, Glad you're home. WELCOME HOME!!! Sorry for your misfortune but remember people like me who read this in English owe it all to people like you. I am in NO a lot, maybe we can meet up and I will buy you a beer, or a bunch of them! There are plenty of sharks in my part of the world (Miss) and are realatively affordable. If I see a likely prospect I will put it on the forum. Thanks a million to you and the other guys who serve! My hat is off to you. Happy belated 4th of July and GOD BLESS AMERICA!! 101st LRRP traildog Vietnam,1971. 55 years old now and still kicking, just not as much dust as use to be!

Again thank you all for your support, and to let you know I am fighting to save my marriage I still have about 6 or 7 months left.  I'm not looking for a vette at the moment as i'm still married and would hate lose another one to a divorce.  But again, thank you and it's great to be home.

Hey Dude,

As a 'Nam vet, I didn't understand my folks' concern went I went there, since I knew I'd be in Saigon - in a protected facility - and the risk was pretty low. Now I, as the parent, DO UNDERSTAND. My son was in Panama went we went in after Noreiga, was in the first wave into Bosnia, was in the first wave into Kosovo, and was in the first wave into Iraq AFTER the "Flash to Baghdad" - mostly in Fallujah and Al Anbar province. Now, he's getting ready to go back to to Iraq AGAIN, this time into the Baghdad "Green Zone".

Glad you're back from "over there" - and in "one piece". Thanks for a great job. Now ... GET IN THAT CORVETTE AND RIDE, RIDE, RIDE.........

Vette(s): 1979, 350sb, as my kids affectionately call it "shit brown" Corvette purchased in 1996. 84,000+ miles. Not a show car, but I love her just the same.

Hope Katrina hasn't treated you like an ex-husband!  Glad that you did not have a "new" vette down there when she came through.  Looks like you'll be cleaning up down there for months.  Just know our thoughts are with you during the aftermath.

Glad you made it back from Iraq in one piece!
