welcome back to the shark pond. as we all share thanks with you for your service to us at home, and heavy hearts for those that are not coming home, it is good that you made it back safely.
Things will and are going to get better. if i might make one suggestion. GET A NEW VETTE BEFORE YOU GET A NEW WIFE.

Matt,
We missed you,Man!
I'm glad you're back home safe. I was starting to worry about you over there.
Happy 4th of July, and I hope you get a chance to celebrate, you've earned it.

Hey Matt,
Welcome home brother. Job well done. Depending on what Uncle Sam had you doing, some take longer than others to decompress and readjust after living in a combat zone. If you want to talk about things or just shoot the sh!#, send me a private message and I'll send you my number.
Or even better, pass by the garden state on your may to Pennsy to see Gribble123.
Either way, thanks for your service and glad you're home safe!!
BTW - there's a 78 silver anniversary sitting in a gas station by my house. Been there for over a yaer...Don't know it's status but glad to find out for you if you want to check it out...
THINGS WILL DEFINITELY GET BETTER - TAKE YOUR TIME MAKE SURE YOU'RE OK FIRST!!!

Davii,
Sorry to hear about your wife and car, but I'm glad your back! When I got back it was a great feeling. Take your time with the transition - it took me a while to get back in the civilian swing of things. That's why I bought the vette. It helped me to work on it.
Maybe you can find another one soon. I'm sure the folks here will be happy to help you look
All the best - Let us know if you need anything.
... What ever happened to the english guy that traveled the country in his new vette b4 having it sent back to England?
David (aka swwales, aka 'PigPen') has been AWOL for awhile, but he did make it home and has been enjoying tearing up the British Isles countryside with that '71 454! The last time I talked to him he had lifted the body off his other Vette (a '74 roadster w/350) and was attacking the frame. I'll post an update as soon as I can get in touch with him.
I've seen several C3s with 4-sale signs in them around here. Pass a BMW / M/B dealership most everyday that has a '78 Pace Car sitting out in the front row. If you see one near the Twin Cities let me know and I can go check it out for you.
