Hello winter!
My kids are home for the holiday and everyone is packed in, covered up, and sleeping tight yet after a late night / early morning board game bonanza of Truth or Myth...
I woke up at 6 to make coffee and opened the blinds only to look out and see SNOW

I knew it was going to happen but heck the leaves are still hanging on the trees (even though it is almost December).
I wondered why my daughters visiting cat (my grand cat as she refers to it. Ha...) kept wanting to curl up with me this morning. Normally she is pretty independant.
The good thing about this is I have begun to order the 1st round of winter mods for the Blackray and my buddy dressed in Brown should be arriving any day now.
One of the things I look forward to about winter is having the heat on in the garage and working on vehicles. Something like this: (Sung Kind of along to that Merry Christmas Theme....)
Heat On wearing those Insulated Bibs.
As I gaze out from Frosted Windows.
Snow Outside On the ground around.
Makes me Happy, Oh So Happy..... To Mod...
Automotive Smells In The Air Surround.
Lawn Chairs In Position To Tell Some Yarns.
Coffee In The Pot, Ohh Its So Hot...
Yes, I'm Happy, Modding Makes Me Happy
Thanks alot.....

OH MAN IT'S GONNA BE A LONG WINTER.....
AHHHH....... HOT SPRINGS....... SIGH.......

Boats are out and covered. Leaves are all raked up.

Ewwwwww, No it's definately not Mr. Hanky! No, I didn't buy a 78[I think that was my buddy Chevyjunkie "Jamie"). Mr Brown would be the UPS man who should be delivering new shocks for the blacray...

kinda cool here, but no white stuff. I Just backed it in the shed. for another month, or another excuse to take it out. Good thing about here, snow doesn't show up until Jan sometime, and I can always find an excuse to roll er out.
Its cold here too. suppose to get near freezing tonight. Time to break out old heater for the shop....
Joel, we got the same thing. Tuesday we set a record w/86 degrees. Wed, we go to the in-laws, about 2 hours from here around Muskogee and it was 22 degrees by the time we got there with a 40mph wind out of the north
Tonight it's a mere 38 so it is balmy. 71Shark and I hung 19 dead animal heads for a guy tonight. I was in shirt sleeves and the Sharkman was in his vette jacket. (THANKS FOR DINNER, TIM)
Definitely not vette weather
Hope everyone had a safe and happy Turkey day and didn't have to spend it with in-law cousin's like the wifes (she can't stand em either). Not to hijack the thread but we just got back so I missed the chance on Turkey day.
