Bush Fails To Prevent East Coast Blizzard
Minorities Hit Hardest
by Some Lefty Reporter 02/12/06
As President Bush and his staff cowered in the White House, the snow continued to pile up on the many poor and African Amercian victims who could not afford to get out of town or to safety in Florida. Crucial supplies of blankets, hot cocoa, popcorn and dark rum - so essential to surviving the stress of any major snowstorm - lay in stores undelivered.
"Where is the government? I need my sidewalk shovelled so I can get out to buy my damn lottery tickets!" said one D.C. resident from his living room. "Why are we wasting money in Iraq when we could be spending it here on me?"
Progressive blogs blasted the President for his inaction. "We find the timing terribly suspicious - just as the Domestic Spying hearings kick into high gear, what happens? A major northeast Blizzard. Why now?" wrote blogger FUAmericaNBush2.
Hearings into the Blizzards' effect on hearings are almost a certainty. Howard Dean has suggested he will call for an investigation once his new medications kick in and John Kerry took a break from the sporting activities of the glamourous super-rich in some exotic locale (random choice: Ice Sailing in Finland) to call for new legislation outlawing snowstorms. "The Republican Congress has dropped the ball once again. I have always been a staunch supporter of anti-snow legislation, except for certain locations where I ski. Snow has no business on our roads and the President and Congress knows that."
Calls for impeachment over "SnowGate" as some are calling it already are mounting as deeply as the snow itself, and what will be discovered underneath will prove to have a truly chilling effect on the Republicans, as the inevitable thaw proceeds.
Or something like that.

It always amazes me how the President, (regardless of who is in office) gets too much blame or credit for whatever happens!
Just look at the greatest President of all time Bill Clinton? You know the guy that stained the blue dress!
We in Arkansas have disavowed any knowledge of him, (except for the Presidential Mobile Home, I mean Library) Darn if if doesn't look like a Mobile Home!
John D. Grant "Corvette; Cure for the common mid-life crisis!"
How the hell does a single or mass amount of people effect the change of such a snow storm? If you honestly think Bush cna go out there with a stop sign and yell, "Hey, I'm the president of the USA! Stop snowing on my people of the East!" Then something is wrong with you....
For the most part Bush has his faults, I'd rather have Clinton as a Dynasty... Although I hate Hillary. But I heard Giuliani is running in 2008!!!! Yes, I'm 18! I ge tto vote for Giuliani. You know as much as people say "Clinton was the best president ever" then why the hell did you impeach him? Just because he was getting his freak on like 90% of the USA population doesn't make him any different

One thing that was unanimous...none of the Secret Service people had anything good to say about Hillary. A number of times I was on Presidential details for Clinton as well as Bush 41. I did not meet Clinton personally though I did Bush. I was on Hillary's detail a couple of times but never close in. A fellow officer who was with Hillary remarked how plastic and phony she was.
I won't go into things about the Clinton's I know of...some has never been in the public domain. I'll just say that Clinton is and was an embarassment to the nation. He's popular with foreign leaders because he gave them what they wanted so he could be popular and say he had a treaty or something else positive he could brag about.
Not to say he did everything wrong or completely unsuccessful, just he will go down eventually as a very inconsequential President.
Let's just say that the country is worse off for his Presidency.
