A comedian doing stand-up at a local comedy club said....the best thing the Republicans could have done was have their convention in NYC. All those rowdy, face-painted anarchists chanting Kerry's name must have done wonders for their re-election bid.

neither side has the franchise on voter fraud...

there were as many voting irregularities in the demogogue controlled counties as the republicrooks did in theirs in FL in 2K.

kennedy had the massive vote fraud issue in chicago in 1960.. this is where the saying "vote early, vote often" comes from.

democrats right now are suing to get nader off the ballot all over the place. (they almost suceeded in arkansas, it was reversed on appeal) republicans do everything they can to stifle the black vote. this is disenfranchisement.

so the moral of this story is that they are all crooks and all equally worthless.

I've been around a while and watched politics just as long. I agree neither party has its hands clean when it comes to being negative, underhanded and libelous, but it's been my observation and experience that by and large, the most egregious offender commiting lies and dirty tricks has been liberal Democrats. They promote "tolerance" yet are the most intolerant of ideas other than those they approve, passing unconstitutional legislation, disenfranchising voters (such as the military mail-in vote in 2000). Politics is hardball and the Dems simply play it for keeps, laws and right and wrong be damned. The Republicans try, but are generally pretty inept at hardball politics.

The scary thing is that our system is better and more honest than everyone else's...that really makes you think what the rest of the world is like!
