I have finally gotten to the point that I'm totally confused! both sides are stretching the truth, neither has lower or middle class interests at heart, mostly lip service. I think the only thing they want out of an election is the legacy, and a library with their name on it.
I really want to vote, moreso now than ever, but the more I try to listen to the rhetoric, the more confused I get!
The term public servant should be reserved for those who really are! Cops, fireman, emergency crews, a politician is no more a servant of the public interests than the tyrants they say they are fighting!
Maybe I will vote for Ben! Nah, it'd ruin him too!

Yes, but as you can see 83% of the people that voted here on the forums have voted Bush. If you look at the electoral votes http://www.electoral-vote.com/ Bush is still winning, he's never lost. Right now it's close... The point that people don't see is that Kerry did vote 350 times for higher taxes, he voted yes for war, no for KEVLAR, ammunition, and utilities. How do you vote for people to into war and then screw them over? Not to mention that just cause he was in Vietnam big deal. He put in for all his medals himself. 3 Purple Hearts, and a bronze star. When he came back from the war; he protested the war, the American Government along with it’s choice of actions, and returned all his medals as a spite in the face, He kept one medal. One of the purple hearts.. Why? I do not know. Not to mention that he can't keep a solid opinion on the war, or any other subject leads me to be he is media controlled. He does what makes him look good, instead of what’s right. Forget that. Not to mention that he has been a senator for 20 years and has no major accomplishments (that really says something about a politician), and his wife is the sole heir the Heinz... Self made millionaires I think not. He’s living off her father's invention... I think I'm going to use hunts ketchup now... Kerry is a big joke....

actually it has nothing to do with her father..

her first husband was the sole heinz heir and was a republican senator.

he died in a plane crash. she is the heinz heir only by marriage.

My wife said Mrs. Kerry looks "frumpy". Anybody have a clue what that means? The more I look at her, the frumpier she gets. |biggrin|
