Okay as most of you have noticed lately the quality (if you can call it that) of the pictures I have been taking are way less than desirable. This is mostly due to my use of a camera that was my back up in the advent my nice Fuji Digiatal died. (which it did after sliding off of the back of my C5).
What are some of the cameras you are using that takes nice pictures? Here is my criteria for a new purchase:
Simple to use -(on / off not a gazillion features.)
Simple to download - plug into USB port and go.
Pocketsize - no need to carry around something huge!
Inexpensive - Say less than $300.00
That should about do it.... C'mon now help a brutha out, ya gotta be as tired at lookin at my crappy pics as I am of postin em!!!

I have a Kodax "Easy Share" CX7330
Not the best, but a dang good one, imho. It were around $200, or less if I remember right. Plug & play w/USB.

easy share for me to.
I like the Sony Mavica (of course you won't be able to see the quality until I get my photos on line).
I have an Olympus Stylus 710. Great camera, very easy to use, fits in your pocket, 3x optical zoom, 7.1 megapixel, all weather (splash proof not submussible), can shoot short videos, USB, steady shoot, I have a 1GB memory card and can store thousands of pictures before needing to download them. I got it on sale for under $200.

My first digital was a Fuji. Small, easy with good features. 3.1 MEG. I think I paid $249 4-5 years ago.
Upgraded to Olympus 720FE (I think. I'll check when I get home.)
7.1 Meg. Small, big LED screen, easy to use with extra features if you want them. USB download. Video with sound. $199 six months ago. Now I see them for $189 at OfficeMax.

I'm using a Fuji S700, got it for about 250-275... its a 7 megapixel, takes execelent pictures, has a 10x optical zoom, 4.8 digital(total of 48x zoom), can take video's as long as you have memory for it(it also allows zoom(to 8x while video-ing)), uses standard SD memory cards... only drawback is that it is not "pocket"size.. its comparable to a small 35mm SLR... however, for pocketsize, the Olympus or Kodak do the trick... may not have the zoom, but... there is always some trade off... my girlfriend(Angel) has a Kodak EasyShare..think its about 7megapix..and really likes it..i've used it a time or two, seems simple, and affordable too.. also it uses the SD memory cards(something to keep in mind, as i have an Olympus 2100c that uses a MMx card, that i can't find unless i go online or to a super-duper computer store, and even then, may not find it...)
costco has a great deal on the canon digital camcorder for online 339.00 includes shiping comes with all of the accessories also, might be worth looking into cuz it will also take still pics but give you the add plus of recording vids right to a dvd, think i am going to pay one for laceys business. here is a link to web site:http://www.costco.com

I've got a Sony Cybershot DSC-P92 which is a 5 megapixel camera with 3X zoom. It takes nice photos, but this model is about 4 years old and don't know if its still available. Its very easy to use and I'm sure they've got some newer Sony's available for about the same price I paid at Wally World, @$300.
