Yep XK-120 drophead coupe. The next model (XK-150) was a similar shape but with less pronounced curves along the door line. The 150 is much more common and 120s are getting very expensive.
They have an Ash frame (wood) and if you saw one off it's chassis you would think it was a truck chassis.

It's a 1954 Jaguar

Sorry to disappoint you corvette427 but the 150s had a on piece windscreen and different bodylines. Plus they didn't come out until 1958.
Yes Adam's Apple, what the English back in those days called a Drophead Coupe.
Drophead Coupe (DHC) Convertible or removable hard top
Fixedhead Coupe (FHC) Hardtop.

We have a '53 XK-120 FHC... sitting next to the Vette, but I need to finish the resto... kind of lost interest once I got the Vette...Actually I inherited this rest (Jag) when I met my fiancee. It's about 70% ready. Not sure if I will finish it or sell as is. Needs complete interior and chrome put back on...
You think Vettes are expensive hobby... try a Jag. They are out of this world...
