Vette(s): 1970 stingray, t-top, mulsanne blue with black interior, 406 ci with 444 hp, racing suspension, hooker headers/sidepipes - SOLD :(

naw, naw...she takes my vette...I take...um...something I dunno.  I'll do something mean!  besides, isn't that what prenups are for?

honestly, I have no intention of marrying this girl, nor of re-entering a relationship until it can be demonstrated to me that she has resolved some of the problems in her life.  but she's been a cool girlfriend, and we have common interests, I wouldn't like to just cast her out of my life and never speak to her again.  I'm cool with being just friends, unless God wants more.  and I really didn't mean to offend anyone when I referred to Him as "the Big Guy."  when I use the term, it is with the utmost respect, I have had pastors who have referred to Him in this manner, and I don't believe that it is wrong...while He is our God, He also wants a personal relationship with us, wants to be not only our Father but our Best Friend.  think of it as a term of endearment.  if I offended someone, sorry.

as for not listening to the advice I received...well...I'd say I took some of it to heart.  After all, I'm not making any attempt to maintain a romantic relationship with this girl.  I only chose not to follow the advice of telling her not to come because I had already spent the money on the plane ticket, and reservations for a number of things (dinner cruise on the riverboat, never done that before) that I daresay will be fun.  I'll enjoy the time I've got with her as her friend.  Besides, otherwise I'd have no reason to clean, vaccuum, and wash the cars.

I don't want people to think that just because I didn't listen to every bit of advice that was given to me, that I don't appreciate it.  I am more thankful than I can say that there are people in this world who will take the time to attempt to guide a stubborn kid like myself, and I really appreciate all the caring responses I've received.
