Well team, just got home from the hostital with my 13 year old daughter. She has had a pacemaker since birth and the battery drained unexpectedly over the last 6 months. Luckily, we found out through a regularly scheduled check up and were able to schedule surgery on an emergency basis.

Her pacemaker was changed out yesterday and thank the Lord above, she is now home resting comfortably with 8-10 years on the new model.

How easily we forget what's really important in life!!!

WOW! I'm glad they caught that, as I'm sure you guys are, too! Talk about a scare...
Hope she recovers quickly from the surgery, and gets back to being a healthy teenager, and drivin you crazy soon!

Thank you all for your kind thoughts and comments. My wife is the pillar of strength in situations like this. I am so wrapped around my kids fingers, it's really hard to swallow events like this.

Danielle is a tough kid though. And has a heart of gold.
