I'm pretty sure that this would apply to most northern states!

-22 with a -40 windchill at 6 o'clock this morning.  It was a brisk walk with the dogs to say the least.  And yes, they had booties and blankets on.

Jim the coldest on record here was in 1994, it was -20F. I had to work in that temp, sense my work on heating and ac. I thought that I would die. I also had to work on a Sunday that was -18F. on an aircondtioning system for the gas company. It was for their computer operations center. AC at -18F. is nuts. The system actually couldn't actually start up and keep running due to the cold conditions. I had to modify settings to allow it to operate. It actually burned out various IBM equipment due to the lack of AC. All they needed to do was open some doorways to bring in the cold. I had problems with the television stations, and computer rooms when it dropped down to the single digits and below. You evidently come from good Norwegian StockThumbs%20Up

Saturday morning dawned at +18.  Surprising that even tho' it was still below freezing the 40 degree change in temp was quite noticeable.  Today we will get above freezing for the first time in quite awhile.

Come on April...!!!

I'm going to stop complaining about (what I thought were) the cold temps here in N.Y. right now!
