The high today was supposed to be 2 degrees, but my car never got above -2. Right now it's -3 with a windchill of -22. (At 5:30pm) Yeah, that's cold.

Anyway, I came out of work and there's a C6 sitting in the parking lot. Some customer is driving it in the snow, salt and gravel, while mine is safe in storage. Makes me a bit jealous. I guess if I had a newer vette I might consider driving it year round.

That got me wondering. Do any of you drive your vettes year round in the snow and ice? (I had to list snow and ice because of you in the South and Southwest! We already know you can drive year round!)

Spielman might be the only one that could drive year round in ice/snow!

It actually SNOWED here today! Almost a blizzard!! It was so bad, if ya blinked, ya might have missed the four-five flakes that came down!

Only a person with no PASSION would drive a vette in poor weather.

That is some type of sick, deviate, premeditated behavior that I find in lease car owners.....

I know what you mean, Bryan.   We've had over 12" of snow so far this winter, about 3/4" still on the ground and the forecast is to get down to 10 tonite.  I won't drive my vette if the roads are just wet from rain, much less snow, ice and salt.  The guy with the C6 must see his vette as just transportation or he's got more money than sense to drive it in that.

Me 2. I won't even drive mine when the roads are wet. There's a guy by my shop with a yellow Z06. He drives it all winter. I go by sometimes and its covered with salt & slush. I don't understand. But to him I'm sure its just a car.

I'm torn. I only drive mine in good weather. Even if the wipers worked, I would still only drive the vette on good days. If I had a new vette, I would drive it year round. If I lived where I had to deal with snow and salt, I might reconsider. Hows that for waffling!LOL

Snow and Ice? How about rain rain and more rain?  I try to drive my Pacer atleast once a month during the rainy season here in Washington, but only when the roads are dry.

Current air temp here is -10 with the wind chill at -30. (Temp inside the garage is at +20 at the moment but expect it will drop overnight.)

The high on Saturday is expected to be below zero.  Low temps through the middle of next week are expeced to be below zero the the high temps making it to double digits above zero by Wednesday, possibly Thursday.

Spring can't come quick enough now.

Temp here in Chicago is gonna be below zero tomorrow. Definitely don't drive the Vettes in bad weather. I may not even walk out to the barn with the dogs to visit them for the next few days!
After 10 years of parking my work van outside year round, I got a different one last month that actually fits in the garage. How nice to not scrape windows or freeze in the mornings.

The superintendent for one of the builders I work for drives a black C4 year round. I cringe every time I see it covered with salt.
