Supposed to be cold here this weekend, then warm up again.
As for driving a C6 in the winter snow, maybe it's his only vehicle.
I wonder how it handles in the snow and ice.
The worst part about snow around here is the salt they put on the roads. Eats metal like it was starving.

Can't wait for Spring.

Vette(s): '75 Stingray Coupe - 350 Bored, Edelbrock Alum. Heads, Performer Intake/ Carb., Harland Sharp Roller Rockers, MSD Ign., XE Comp. Cam, Pete Jackson Gear Drive, Hooker Headers, Side Pipes, TH400, 3000 RPM Stall and 3.55 Rear Gears
I have had mine out a few times lately. I was trying to find some dry pavement to test out a new 3000 stall converter. I don't like driving it on a salted road though. Seems like I take it out every winter a few times on good days. My car really loves that cold air coming into it. Feels a bit faster. Next year I probably will only start it up in the garage during winter waiting to take her to the paint shop by the end of Feb. hopefully. A couple years ago I drove it in a bad snow. I had to take the car home after a friend and I put new heads, cam and other upgrades. I looked like a boat throwing snow tails. I couldn't see out of the back.I got some really funny looks from people, but the guy wanted his garage back. Drove worse than a Camaro in the snow. Felt like I was going to be arrested for doing something wrong.
darn...it was cold here last night!!....Got down to 35 degrees, should be in the 70s today, I need to bring a jacket to Barrett-Jackson........
(I couldn't resist!)

Extra cold and bad weather here too at the Ca/ Or border. Still about a foot of snow on the ground. I wouldn't even be able to get the vette out of the shop, even with chains.
Good time for winter projects. I start my vette ever few weeks and have a trickle charger on the battery.
Hey Mike, must be nice to live in Az.
But you make up for it in the summer. Tells us all about BJ when you have time. Have fun....
I remember when I had a Dodge Van back in 74 during the van craze. I had a heating element in the upper heater hose that I plugged into electricity to kept the block warm. Worked real good..

NO I do not drive any of my Corvettes in Bad weather...
BUT once upon a time I did.... and I did so because it was my only car.. But gosh that was 40 years ago and I did not even own a house yet... nor was I married...
Today all 5 sit in the garage and will sit inside until April Fools day ...that is the day I always open up the garage doors and pull them out of the garage one by one and change the oil.... and DECLARE the summer driving season OPEN...

It's about 25 now with a wind chill of around 15. Sunday it's going for a high of 14 and a low of 5, wind chill down to minus 20, and I will be working in the parts store changing batteries for those to dumb to realize that if it barely starts now, it wont start Sunday.
When I get home Sunday I am gonna need a blanket and a hot cup of tea.
Well it's a balmy 10 degrees here in the Buffalo area. Today I got awakened by the town highway dept. this morning to go out plowing and salting the roads. Darn I hate getting woken up for overtime...NOT!

Anyways...we have a few vettes running around town all winter long covered in salt and winter road grime. What a shame. I won't even think about bringing mine out til after a few good spring rain storms.

Not much snow and ice here, only occasionally but I would never think of driving my vette in the bad weather. Ive only driven it in the rain twice since Ive owned it and those two times were not by choice.
