[QUOTE=dwright]Mike,

Your Yorkie is the spitting image of our Willie.
He passed away several years aro, so Mikey could be his reincarnation.
Could be! If you recall, we got him last July just two weeks after our "mama"dog Kiki passed. Even tho we still had three others we felt as tho something was missing. Mickey has filled the posisition nicely. He's a hoot!
My brother always told me if he got a dog he'd get a MAN'S dog. His wife brought home a Brussels Griffon
.

These guys are my kids! I got as many pup pics as I have Corvette pics.
Here's another one, the whole gang. Mickey up front as usual!

[QUOTE=Sarge81]We've have two "well mannered" toy poodles. Shadow and Midnite. They love to go everywhere with us.
We heard that poodles like water. Is it true? Our black lab is getting VERY old and we figure he's probably not going to be around too many more years. I love German Shepards and large dogs, too (my favorite was a pit bull mix). But, we'd love to have a dog that doesn't shed and loves water. One that would dive in the water to follow us. Would a poodle fit the bill?
I always liked the big dogs, i.e. German Shepards, Labs etc. But due to allergies from their fur and dander, I can't be around them for long. So these little guy's are perfect. Small, very portable, hypoallergenic, and man do the ladies love em.

Here's my dopey dog. Sometime he lays in the office with me, but if anyone else is home, he either is with them, or he lays somewhere in the middle... just in case one of us decide to do something exciting, he'll be ready.

cute dogs mike.. at least it isn't a st bernard wanting to sit on your lap
. i have a cat, her name is goofball (goofy for short). she loves jumping on the back of my chair and walking down my arm and making a place for herself right in front of the monitor. if something is in the way she has no problem moving it or laying on it.

kkfinch - poodles will fit the bill , they generally do not shed as most people know it (no undercoat - so no short hairs covering your couch) BUT you will find balls of hair from breakage.
kkfinch- PM sent.
ceastham1 is accurate on the hair thing.
We give our dogs a bath once a week and brush them thoughly, and get their hair cut every 8 weeks. This pretty much takes care of hairball issues.
