Vette(s): Re-acquired 1982 Bright Blue Vette from the guy a sold it to 13 years ago. 1993 40th Anniv. Ruby Convertible- purchased for my wifes 40th birthday-It has Chromed Grand Sport Wheels, Grand Sport Flares and a functional rollbar.
I was hoping to get some ideas for making my garage look cool. Checkered floor or walls, metal signs, neon signs. Perhaps if you guys have some cool looking garages you could post a few pics so I could collect some ideas for my project. Thanks |saluteflag| |cool|

That's BAAAAAAD! |thumb| Where's the 'fridge?, can't have a garage without a beer cooler! |cheers|
Now, next we talk about a shop! A garage is where you park it when it's done.

I think I saw them in Hemmings. Somebody is making dress up kits for old refrigerators that make them look like old-fashioned gas pumps. No cool garage should be without one! |thumb| |cheers| Oh yeah, don't forget the car lift?

hey grego, having the same problem. I bought a piece of property in Vernon NJ with 2 garages on the property. The one attached to the house is 45 feet long 22 feet wide 18 foot high ceiling. The one up on the property is a 3 car garage with an office attached. The one attached to the house is the vettes home. The black and white checkered floor is a must. The fridge is also a must. Tools on the walls and in the box, hoist on the ceiling. Maybe a hydraulic lift if I can swing it. Ideas are endless, cash flow has it's limits. The imagination is the window of life. |cheers|

Tony,
Very Cool |cool| . Is the black and white tile just the garden variety from Lowes? Is the emblem hand painted or decal? I saw a pic of a guy who had put the black and white tile on the wall like a wainscoat and then painted a red chair rail above it. It is hard to decide whether to put it on the floor or the wall. |rollysmile|
