Dear fellow C3VR members,

It has been great posting here, and getting help, and having talks with my fellow C3VR friends. However the real reason why I am posting this is because: COrvetteracer1970 made the Corvette Tribute Music Video, it was 46MB in size and I offered to host it in a mirror directory so we can all view it with ease, and watch the video in pleasure. I had enough bandwidth to do it. But recently no one has seen the video until yesterday. Some A-hole on [Adam added: WARNING: MATURE CONTENT SITE:] www.entensity.net posted a link entitled: "Does anyone like corvettes?" in is 'FFL' section. It linked to the video we were all watching. He has a Google page rank of 6, and he has a lot of people view his website everyday. In a matter of 14 hours over 3,000 people have seen this video. I have 100GB of bandwidth (transfer, to allow people to see the video 1,024MB=1GB) after that it is 50 cents for every BD of the limit. In the 14hour period 160GB was used for the video alone. The host is only going charge me for 60GB for the video, and then 50cents for ever GB over that until the end of the month. Since this video was meant for us to enjoy, and this A-hole had to destroy it, he won't help pay, I was hoping you guys could donate 75 cents to the cause of the video. You may be asking what the other 25 cents is for, this is to secure payment for the rest of the month bandwidth for the bounce back 404 not found errors since he refuses to take the link off his site. Any money that is not used I will track it back to the appropriate people and refund it. Please help me guys, I made a job change recently as well, and although this job is more promising then Kmart, it is taking awhile to get off the ground. And I no longer have a steady paycheck. Hey guys,

I felt like a butt hole asking... After pay-pal fees the donation amount is 98 cents.... Doesn’t seem like much but every dollar counts. Thanks Ken, Larry, and Tom. Maybe more people will donate. The billing cycle is going to end on the 23rd, so I will have a complete total. I will most likely be paying the majority of the bill..... Sad but true. This new employer is kind of flakey with me, and the client www.efficientelectric.com is not going to pay me until the website is done. However that website is done with me b/c I am waiting on their 'controller' to give me updated company background info, and some partner, and employment applications to transfer onto the webpage.... oh my by the time ‘Tara the controller’ gets in gear and controls me over some content I will be poor...... I don't think my new 'employer' has the 'clients' that he says he has..... Otherwise I would have more contracts already. I can crank out a new design and the complete index page in 2 days.... He told me not to worry he will 'hook me up' and have me making more money than Kmart 'hopefully' so he says, I'm starting to doubt that....... Its all a long story but I can no longer go back to work for Kmart, I have been listed as 'not eligible for rehire at any store location'  This is due to the 2 weeks notice I had to give.... I told her that my new boss needed me to come to the office (otherwise I work from home) on Sunday, and Monday to meet with some clients and install some new Tier1 racks.... nothing ever happened with this guy....... I am starting to think that this was a bad change... The Vette will sit in the garage, the computer will never get upgraded, and my financial means will be cut... and I will become a lazy bum...... The estimation my friend and I got is that I will prob will be paying $70 for the bandwidth for the video at the end of the billing cycle.... If you look at his website he added a new post for today already, and still didn't take the link off... I have like 20K hits so far...... I am thinking of telling global servers to shut the account done for the rest of the month till it gets off the main page of his site.... My friend had a good idea: tell them that you will pay the overcharges but you are canceling the account, and you wont get my $60 a month for the hosting. This way we have to force them to wave the charges and keep the account. If this works (and it prob won't) I will refund everyone’s money in full..... But thanks guys.... I'm really emo right now, too much crap to deal with. But I got my road test today so I'll post later....

Well I'm at least glad my video's drawn so much attention.  How much are the charges up to, I think I can contribute quite a bit more than just .75 cents.  Lemme know man.  Also, if my talking to this guy will in any well help, hook me up with some contact info.

Hey Michael-Jon or which ever you like to be called- l00l. I don't want to like take every1's money. But global servers is going to rape me so bad and were not even playing counterstrike. My friend esitmates the server reaching 190GB of bandwith. Blobal servers is going to charge me for the 90GB 90GBx0.50=$45.00USD Holey crap thats a lot of money......

Byt the way a friend of mine that I am makign websites for his lcient let me start hosting my new web design company www.0degree.net on his server down in Florida, he has like a terabyte of transfer on that server. so I gave myself liek 10GB of transfer, and about 50GB of disk space so I can sell web hosting plans to make some extra money. I am considering hosting the Vette video there. Hey, at least you know that over 5K people have seen that video!

Also I passed my road test with an 83. I only failed b/c Mr. Ron the budwiser gut a-holwe driving instructor was making me nervous, and he  was making all kinds of grunting sounds while I was driving. So I made a few mistakes. However overall I did pretty good. But the picture that  is  on my license looks like I am a one-eye pirate, who si missing his eye patch. I am at school right now, but I will scan my license through later so you guys can have a good laugh.

also kudos on your driving test man...and don't worry, everyone makes mistakes.  I sped for a bit!  gee, fancy that!  now I'm a speed addict...hell even my daily driver has a blower on it.

oh yeah, and find a buyer for my 77 vette and I'll love you forever.  7 grand, or 8 grand with an Eaton M90 supercharger and throttle body.
