Don't get too harsh.  Not everyone who donates makes a post.  I can't turn down Larry.

[QUOTE=BelgiumBarry]

look guys , that's the way i feel it and that's the way i write to you :

you all make carbs, exhausts, engines and , yes, even a steering wheels for a oldtimer toy, a life important business but when your  FAMILY brother ask a litle help nobody seems to react.

I am deeply ashamed in Larry's name of this "great C3VR FAMILY" !

And here i make a exception for Joel , he's not in the position to do charity right now but at least he had the guts to reply something !

And i don't judge anybody on the amount of donation : God didn't divide equal so one's 100 $ are even good as another's 5 and one's 1000.

Don't tell me everybody over here spent his last 5 bucks on his vette.

And the counting of views doesn't ly.....as for the reply's !

SORRY , that's me.

Now it's up to you , friends.

I agree with Barry on this one. It seems that it's just being ignored by most of the C3VR group. 95% of us here are always talking about spending $$ on our cars or mentioning having a "cool one" while working on the cars. Take the money that you spend on beer for one week and send it to this most worthy cause. It will come back to you 10 fold. No offense intended, just my observation.

Okay Norbert,

I matched your donation and I don't consider myself a wealthy man by any means.  It's time for some more folks to pony up.

Thanks, Rich, and all the others who have contributed.
I will find out tommorrow if I have a job, and if so, I will be able to help, even tho it will be a small contribution. Every little bit will help.
Just a reminder, Lacey's web page will be up until Aug. 31, 2007. I didn't notice that earlier.
Hopefully, this will give some of us time to make a donation(s), as the funds allow.

Even tho there is a small "dig" at us Texans , I think we can still help. Come on Texas group!!

I would have done this sooner, but just have to many irons in the fire right now. I am all for helping families that need a hand. I have a car care day at the church coming up soon. We change the oil, oil filter, air filter and do an inspection on cars for single moms and others in need for free in preperation for winter. We have been know to change an engine mount or radiator in some cases.

I belevie it is our duty to help one another when we can.

just to let you all know we are leaving for Holidays in Normandie !  So i won't bother you for a while

Willys is ready on trailer and we are waiting for the "fruits-de-mers" ( sea-food) !!!! Have some good documentation about the      D-DAY landing shores UTAH, OMAHA,GOLD,JUNO,SWORD, musea , monuments etc. so i start prepared !

I want to visit those sites in honor of 2.000.000 US soldiers and 1.000.000 British who allied  against that son of a b*tch Hitler and his unbelievable cruel -stupid army.

And pitty but history repeats herself as the US is doing again that job in Iraq  , Saddam , another Hitler.

OEPS , i'm i here in the wrong thread ????

Vette(s): had a really nice one. sold it to a good friend. Purchased 2004 custom coupe in Feb. 2009 did not tell anyone here until August 2009. BAD I KNOW.

this is just a thank you to all, everyone that has looked at and who have opened up there hearts ( and checkbook) to help Lacey raise not only funds, but more importantly awareness of this great non profit.

I did not post it thinking that most should donate, I simply wanted to get it out to as many people as possible.  now that it has been up for awhile, thanks joel for keeping it active, I would like to suggest to everyone on this site to consider the following:

1) if know people who might like to donate to this to please foward the link to them

2) most importantly look into your local area for an Arc organization, or some other group that helps to improve the lives of people with disabilities, and either give to, become members (membership is very important when it comes to having a greater voice in government) or give time and support

Larry, I will send the link to our club web-master, and ask that it be listed on our site, or at least sent out as a club e-mail.
Perhaps others will do the same.
