Jimmy I share the sentiments of above.... Our nation seems to be swirling around in one big porcelain bowl.....!

Sorry Rick to hijack your thread I will try now to get it back on track.....

Indiana is in much the same state... They kept hunting suppressed way to long! Now the state parks are infested with them. They eat the crap outta the local farmers soybean fields. It is absolutely nothing to get your limit in any season here. Hunters are now looking for Trophy Deer and this allows the others to flourish. But who knows the economy may have an effect on this too with grocery prises continuing to rise....

I haven't hunted since I lived in Georgia, my last doe that I got was almost the same size as my Golden Retriever Confused  But with much longer legs LOL  the deer are kinda small in the south, I used to hunt in New England where they are alittle bigger, good luck on the hunt Thumbs%20Up

Micki it's called thinning the heard.  In some parts of the country the deer are tripping over each other and in the late autumn and winter months they can starve to death while foraging for enough food Confused  It's a much quicker death to be hunted .............  Well atleast thats how I justified hunting to the wife Wink
