Ahh, it's so confusing!

Every year an independent tax watchdog group analyzes the average tax burden on Americans, and then calculates the "Tax Freedom Day". This is the day after which the money you earn goes to you, not the government.

This year, tax freedom day was April 11th. That's the earliest it has been since 1991. Its latest day ever was May 2nd, which occurred in 2000. Notice anything special about those dates?

Recently, John Kerry gave a speech in which he claimed Americans are actually paying more taxes under Bush, despite the tax cuts. He gave no explanation and provided no data for this claim.

Another interesting fact: Both George Bush and John Kerry are wealthy men. Bush owns only one home, his ranch in Texas. Kerry owns 4 mansions, all worth several million dollars. (His ski resort home in Idaho is an old barn brought over from Europe in pieces. Not your average A-frame).

Bush paid $250,000 in taxes this year; Kerry paid $90,000. Does that sound right? The man who wants to raise your taxes obviously has figured out a way to avoid paying his own.

So I guess there's some political scandal in North Dakota and the democrats are talking shit. Some dude is accusing the republican governor of providing a tourism contract to an advertising company (the president of which contributed over 20 grand to the governor's campaigning) unfairly or illegally or whatever, when he himself has been sneaking money for years. did I mention that the president of that advertising company is the father of the guy that's been my best friend for oh...6 years? they're the biggest catholic family ever, he got up at 4 am the day after prom to make eggs, bacon, and chocolate chip pancakes for the 10 prom-goers that had crashed in his basement...for heaven's sake I've never even heard this man CUSS. yeah. he took a multi-grand advertising contract illegally. did I mention I want to shoot all democrats in this state?

You guys know the Democratic Presidential motto, right?
"Do as I say, not as I do" In Kerry's case, it has to be modified though, "Do as I say, but keep checking back, because it's been known to change, not as I do"

Just for the record I am a democrat however I try to be as non-biased as possible. There are lots of good republicans I just can’t think of many that have served as President of the United States. I am sorry to announce this but our economy over the past 4 years has slipped into the toilet, unemployment is at an all time high (Bush’s father and Regan before him had this honor). During the Clinton years you would be hard pressed to walk 10 feet without tripping over a help wanted sign. I don't care who Clinton sleeped with, Times were good. Now that Baby Bush shipped MILLIONS of jobs over seas via his tax incentives for large corporations we now have this unemployment situation. The national deficit was at an all time low thanks to Clinton, this was no easy task as Reagan and Bush posted the largest in US history (as a matter of fact Regan ran it up more than ALL prior Presidents combined). I am not a big Kerry supporter however I am TIRED of the crap that Baby Bush is pulling, where are the WMD? If you follow the world stage ANYONE with ½ a brain knows that Korea is the real threat to peace (they DO have nukes). The fact of the matter is that Baby Bush needed a reason to stomp Saddam’s butt (this is because his daddy was too impotent to take on the UN), now the rest of America will have to pay the bill for this. This is NOT to say I am unpatriotic in the least bit I will be happy to pick up a gun and fight for my country, I stand behind our service men and women 100% I simply disagree with how Bush is trying to accomplish this "freedom for Iraq" without any help from the rest of the world. I am not one to criticize without offering suggestions so I think that ALL media should be removed from Iraq and let the military do what it does best without the kid gloves (now that is a republican view point). While I am at it Bush and his followers seem to be hanging on to small issues as Bush has a proven track record with failure, the economy, his foreign policy (except how he dealt with china on that spy plane issue a few years ago). At least Kerry will bring in some new blood and fresh ideas, Bush and his ilk are going to bankrupt this country if he gets elected for another 4 years mark my words on that.
Also while we are talking about Bush, did any of you watch the 911 hearings on C-Span? It was proven that Bush and his administration had LOTS of warning of an imminent attack on US soil yet he NEVER took heed. He ignored several intelligent sources and just failed miserably to open his eyes and find a way to alert the public. Kerry served in Vietnam at the VERY least he was in the country, Bush was a part of the Coastal defence (what kind of crap is that)Then Bush has the balls to defame Kerry on his service record? Bush can’t do any better because he knows he is an idiot. Well that’s my $.02 I am voting for Kerry as he is the lesser of the two evils, he has a better shot at turning this country around than GW goes.
