Vette(s): 1970 stingray, t-top, mulsanne blue with black interior, 406 ci with 444 hp, racing suspension, hooker headers/sidepipes - SOLD :(
So it seems the army has called my number. In March, I'll be deploying to Iraq. The insurance renewal on the Stingray occurs on January 15th, that will be the day I switch to storage insurance. It will be...very hard to say good bye to this car for over a year, as I have put so much of my heart into it. In any case, can you guys help get me a list of things that I need to do to prepare my car for long-term storage? It will be storaged within a wood and metal storage facility with concrete floors. I'd l ike to have the least amount of negative effect on the car as possible from this storage.
Mike
My old Stingray...sure do miss it:

Mike, I'd just like to add my own simple 'thanks' for your service to our country.
Hang tough, stay safe, and hope maybe you can stay in touch with the Forum from time to time in the coming year. Or after March, give us an email/snail mail address, and I'm sure this gang will keep in contact with you.
You've got that blue beauty to come home to!
