Direct deposit sucks. I haven't gotten payed in over 5 years. My wife gets it all. Between her, my daughter, and my grandaughter, I have to be very creative to get Vette money.
Don't know about your employer but the past several I've put in time with have had the capability to split your direct deposit to at least 3 different accounts.  Mine currently gets split between the household  account, a 'kidlet support' account, and an account set up for EFTs (car/life insurance, LTD, etc).  I'm on the verge of setting up a Vette account on the side.  What the wife doesn't see she can't spend...!!!  (StingrayJim - I will disavow any knowledge of the previous statement!)

So with a 23 year old daughter in her 6th year of college (non-resident tuition is the pits!  We're in Minnesota and she chose to go to college in Montana.    ) where do I sign up for the DWD...!!!

You're right about that...!!!

After looking at some colleges out east Kidlet came to the realization that she would probably spend most of her working life in metropolitan areas so why not go to a school where the mountains were just a few minutes away.  The Universtiy of Montana is located in Missoula, on the "west coast" of Montana.  It is about a 3 hour drive north to Glacier National Park and about the same south to Yellowstone.  In between those two parks is some of the most beautiful country you'll ever see.

Patty and I have to thank her for her choice in schools as the trips we've taken out there to visit have been some of the best vacations we've ever had.  Sometimes the kids DO know best...!!!

Vette(s): had a really nice one. sold it to a good friend. Purchased 2004 custom coupe in Feb. 2009 did not tell anyone here until August 2009. BAD I KNOW.

Well to reply is foolish of me, I have been to that part of Montana, Lived in west glacier for the summer, turned 18 there, worked as a cook making 5:50 an hour, had a cabin on the river for a dollar a day.

I also have a daughter that is almost 21. She is disabled and will always be at home.  remodeling the house to make it assecible for her and the moblity van, and too many special equipment that insurance won't cover and you have the grand total of  grad school, weddings, and the divorce, and the other wedding, throw in a littlr rehab and a few shrink payments and a boob job, there that should cover the cost until she is 30.  but I would have it any other way..  she likes riding in the vette with the top down, guess she okay and hell she'll never ask to drive it.

Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!

I don't need to worry about my oldest 26 driving the Vette.  She really is not interested.  Her husband isn't either.  She wants my wife's Tiffinay lamps.  The youngest 15 doesn't care about the lamps, she wants the Vette.

Jim, I promise not to tell either, but what if I prod Stingray Jim a bit?? Naw, I can't do it.  My vette money comes from the part time job at the parts store.

Sounds like we all have our priorities in the right place. The family comes first.
