I have a household electrical question for anyone that might be able to answer it...
Recently, when a light switch is turned off/on in a bathroom, the stereo in a nearby room makes a "pop" sound through the speakers.
Nothing has changed in the bathroom, or the setup of the stereo since before this started.
Why would it do this all of a sudden? And, what does it mean?
Thanks!

It could be a worn switch causing a electric arc when it is opened or closed. Try replacing the switch. That should correct the problem.

could be a loose wire going to the switch also causing the arc. look for black marks on the switch

Not yet.
When I have time, I'm going to replace the switch.
