Had a good time. Met up with IWAVE2 from BG Kentucky! Had rain on Friday most of the day, but moonlight cruise that evening was very nice and cool. The car show on Sat. was GREAT! I think there was somewhere around 700 vettes in the car show. Oh Ya I almost forgot to mention Some Lady with NO INSURANCE ASSH---- I mean Rearended my Car |sad| Man was my Wife MAD.IWAVE2 was there to see all the excitement. It really kind of stinks that when people dont have insurance The cost comes right out of your pocket. My insurance will take care of it but I bet my next statement goes up. Anyway IWAVE 2 took 4th place in the fuel economy run. Good Job Jon |thumb| Looking forward to next year!

Hey Curt,
It was great to meet you and Sheila in Eureka Springs. It is funny how we ended up parked right next to each other before the moonlight cruise. You've got a great looking Vette. I was really sorry about what happened to it. What will the total repairs cost? I would estimate about $1500-$1800.

We really enjoyed dinner with you guys Saturday Night. Looking forward to next year as well. Take care and keep in touch.

Ever hear of small claims court? Better yet, tell her you want the money in cash because otherwise you'll have her put in jail plus pay a big fine, then have to pay you anyway. Well, then again, I'm in Jersey. I wouldn't even consider going thru my own insurane for someone elses stupidity.

Sorry, Havent been able to get on the computer for quite some time. Well the estimate came to 1,900.00 You were real close IWAVE2. I guessed around 2000.oo. My Ins. Comp. sent me a letter and said they were going to go after her for the money, If they succeeded I would get my 250.00 deductible back. Nope, Im not going to hold my breath either. Jon we had a good time also. I am glad we went out to eat that evening, It made the wife feel good to get out and meet some good people. It has been a little tuff to get her to go to vette functions, Eureka Springs was a nice beginning to hopefully a longtime hobby, The rearending was really not that big of a tragedy as I look back on it now. Hey IWAVE2 did you ever get my email? Keep in touch, Tell the future Bride Hi! |wavey| |cool| |smile| |biggrin| |wink| |toungecool| |saluteflag| |smokin| |cheers| |biggrin| |laugh| |thumb|

Hey Curt,

Glad to hear that the insurance company is atleast going to try to get the money out of her. But I agree, I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you. Just hope they do a good job of fixing the Vette! Keep me posted on the progress.
Kim really enjoyed hanging out with you guys too. Hope we can do it again next year.
Never did get the email you sent. Try sending me something again so we can atleast establish a connection. Tell Sheila we said hey. Talk to you later.

Picked up the car from the body shop last week, They did an excellent job.The only problem is the clear coat has a little more shine than my original clear coat. I did buff the old with my Zaino, it did help but you can still see the difference. I buffed it by hand not with an electric buffer, dont know if I trust myself with an electric one. The ultimate would be to get the rest newly clear coated, It would be nice if the Insurance Co. would pay for it. It really S---s because before the accident the car fully matched nicely.Hey Jon If you read this I just sent you an email a couple days ago. How do I get a hold of you????
